Cedar Branches Women’s Shelter (1081 Canada Ave.) is a safe place of community and security for women* experiencing homelessness.

It is a low-barrier, wet, 19+ shelter that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It currently has a 20-24 person capacity. It offers laundry services, shower facilities, meals, basic supports, and referrals to other services as needed.

Somenos Transition House provides short-term free and confidential shelter and 24/7 on-site support for women* and children displaced due to violence.

CWAVS staff can provide:

• Emotional support, safety planning, referrals, and assistance applying for long-term housing

• Private furnished rooms in a shared living space with 24/7 on-site support

Kw’i Lelum Second Stage provides safe, subsidized housing with individualized, trauma-informed supports for women* and children displaced due to violence.

CWAVS staff can provide:

• Emotional support, safety planning, referrals, and assistance applying for long-term housing

• Groups & programming that aim to support women fleeing violence in gaining confidence, independence, and safety

• Furnished suites with free laundry facilities
