Homelessness Prevention Program

The Homelessness Prevention Program provides practical, person-centred supports such as rent and utility assistance, housing navigation, advocacy, systems coordination, tenancy education, and financial literacy.

These services are primarily for CWAVS clients who have been referred by their counsellors.

Please note: These services are in high demand and we currently do not have space on waitlists.

This program offers a one-time Housing Loss Prevention financial support for non-Indigenous Peoples who are at imminent risk of losing their housing. Financial support is for those with an eviction notice or hydro disconnection.

This support is in high demand and there are limited funds available.
