Elouise Johnson – Director

Elouise.jpgElouise attended the Royal Alexander School of Nursing in Edmonton, graduating in 1971 and receiving her degree from the University of Alberta in 1973 in postgraduate Nursing.  She worked as Director of Nursing in the Beaverlodge Hospital for a number of years and moved on to Public Health and Home Care.  Elouise took on many community and church positions and became the local school board representative and chair.  Elouise was a long-time member of the Alberta School Boards Association executive and was on the Beaverlodge Town Council for twelve years.                  

After raising their five wonderful children, in 2001 Elouise and her husband Lorne moved to Vancouver Island to try something new.  They built a house in Mill Bay and Elouise found a job as Coordinator for the LPN program at Sprott-Shaw College.

 In 2006 Elouise broke her leg in a vehicle accident and after extensive surgery and rehab is back working as Grandma (to her 11 beautiful grandchildren) – which she does here on the island as well as in Edmonton, Calgary, Kamloops and Kelowna.

Elouise has been a CWAV Society's board since 2009.  She is chair of the Resource Development Committee.
