CWAV Society continues to raise money for second-stage housing for women, with and without children. These vulnerable families need supportive housing while they settle their affairs. Attending our event and bidding on silent and live auction items is a fun way to contribute to affordable housing in the Cowichan Valley.

This is our third Building Fund Gala and it's a Masquerade Ball! It's taking place Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the beautiful Arbutus Ridge Golf Club. It features a gourmet buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, special draws, and dancing to Hey! Mr DJStormin' Norm Jackson will be our MC and auctioneer for the third year running!

Festivities start at 6 PM for cocktails (cash bar), the opening of the silent auction and the purchase of tickets for several exciting draws. Dinner is at 7 PM, the live auction at 8 PM and music and dancing to Hey! Mr DJ from 9 to 11. The silent auction closes at 9:30. Draws are made between 10 and 10:30.  

Tickets to the Ball are $100 each or you can purchase a table for 8 at the discounted price of $750. Purchasers of individual tickets will receive a tax receipt for $40. The tax receipt for a table is $280. Table receipts can be split among the table members at $35 per individual. If you wish us to distribute the tax receipts in this way, email with names, addresses and email addresses of those who wish individual receipts.

If you would like to donate a ticket so one of our clients can attend, you can do so here. Tickets donated to clients receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the ticket. 

If you would like to be placed at a table with others, email with names of the people you'd like to sit with.

Tickets, table tickets or tickets for clients can also be purchased by cheque, cash or credit card at our new office at 246 Evans Street in Duncan, V9L 1P8. Office hours are M-F 9:30 to noon and 1 to 4. Mail cheques to the office or call 250-748-7000 and we can process your credit card over the phone.

 All tax receipts will be mailed out in early November.

As we get silent and live auction items, they will be posted on our auction site and a programme of items will be available at the event. People will be able to bid on auction items on-line between October 13 and 27. The high bid on-line will become the opening bid at the event on the 28th. People unable to attend in person will be able to keep bidding at the event by telling us in advance how high they are prepared to bid.
